Salary Range: $840.00 – $980.00 per shift (base gross), based on a 36-hour (3x12-hour) schedule; equivalent to $60.00 – $70.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
- Administers respiratory therapy treatments and conducts pulmonary diagnostic procedures as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Operates under the guidance of the Medical Director and Cardiopulmonary Director/Manager.
- Evaluates, plans, implements, and records patient care.
- Adapts care to meet the specific needs of different age groups and populations.
- May act as Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) when necessary, supervising the department or section during shifts.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Must possess a State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from AHA required upon hire and must be maintained.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is mandatory.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire and must be kept current.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required upon hire and must be kept current.
- An Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree is required. If neither is available, a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
Compensation Transparency
Our organization provides competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range for this role being $60.00 to $70.00 per hour. This estimate is specific to California and may vary in other locations. The final compensation offered will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
