OverviewRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with neonatal ICU experience for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. Start date: 08/10/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay: $2,227–$2,321 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (12-hour nights). Program name: Local Contract Allied Health. Location: United States (travel assignment).Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,227–$2,321 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (12-hour nights)- Start date: 08/10/2026- Setting: hospital travel assignment- Program: Local Contract Allied HealthResponsibilities- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal and general patients, including ventilator management and weaning under physician order.- Perform assessments, initiate therapies, and adjust treatments such as humidification, aerosolized medications, and chest therapies per protocol.- Monitor patient responses, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team.- Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensure infection control practices, and maintain equipment safety and readiness.- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and wound/ICU teams to coordinate care plans and optimize patient outcomes.- Assist with diagnostic testing and data collection (e.g., arterial blood gases) as ordered and documented in the chart.Requirements- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential- Neonatal ICU experience required- Minimum 2 years of RRT work experience- Ability to work the 7:00 PM–7:00 AM overnight shift- Eligible to work in the United States for a travel assignmentBenefits and Support- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Travel assignment support and coordination- Credentialing and onboarding assistance- Real-time access to a dedicated recruiter and assignment support during the contractFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings, you can view additional travel assignments at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
