Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Templeton, California. This travel - temporary assignment starts on 06/01/2026 for a 13-week duration. The role is a nights rotation with 12-hour shifts (3x12) totaling 36 hours per week. You will provide basic and critical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients, perform related documentation and charge capture in electronic medical records, and operate under physician orders and department policies. Responsibilities
- Perform basic and critical respiratory care services as ordered by the physician for adult and geriatric patients.
- Deliver respiratory therapies in accordance with current department policies and standards of care.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust plans within scope of practice and physician orders.
- Complete documentation for each patient in the electronic medical record, including flow sheets and charges.
- Maintain the ability to work without supervision while also providing supervision over others as delegated.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient care and adherence to policies and safety guidelines.

Requirements
- Ability to perform respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients as part of a licensed respiratory therapy team.
- Proficient in documentation and billing processes within electronic medical records.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and to supervise others as delegated.
- Comfort working night shifts and extended 12-hour rotations.
- Strong clinical judgment and adherence to department policies and patient safety standards.
