Responsibilities
- Provide ICU-level respiratory care to critically ill patients, including ventilator management and delivering prescribed therapies
- Set up and monitor BCPAP interfaces; assist with advanced airway management, including intubations, as clinically appropriate
- Apply NRP principles and stabilize patients in obstetric contexts as needed; collaborate with obstetric teams during labor and delivery scenarios
- Perform accurate assessment, monitoring, documentation, and interpretation of respiratory status and response to therapies
- Adhere to ACLS, NRP, PALS, and BLS protocols; respond to respiratory emergencies and facilitate rapid clinical decisions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team to optimize patient outcomes during night shifts

Requirements
- Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in California
- Certification: BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- Certification: NRP (AHA or ARC) required
- Certification: ACLS (AHA or ARC) required
- Certification: PALS (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum 3 years of documented critical care experience, including labor and delivery exposure with NRP knowledge and stabilization skills
- Proficiency with setting up BCPAP interfaces and assisting in intubations
- Ability to work night shifts in a short term acute care setting and participate in rotating weekend coverage
