Key Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care evaluations and treat patients according to established protocols
• Deliver medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers
• Respond immediately to Rapid Response, arrest, and STAT situations; maintain artificial airways and provide respiratory and cardiac support
• Set up and maintain all oxygen delivery systems in accordance with protocol
• Administer medications and perform therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing related to the cardio-pulmonary system, independently or in consultation with a physician

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
• Active RRT Certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Active Michigan Respiratory Therapy License (must reflect Active status)
• Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Current Respiratory Therapy Skills Checklist (within the last year) and 2 completed Supervisory Reference Forms (within the last two years)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel healthcare work experience
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
