Travel Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Nights
LocationAnchorage, Alaska
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 3, 2026
Key Responsibilities- Perform ventilator setup and management across neonatal through adult patient populations
- Administer high-flow oxygen therapy in the NICU, nebulizer treatments, Nitric Oxide, and Flolan therapy
- Manage BiPAP and Bubble CPAP therapy as indicated by patient care needs
- Perform and interpret EKGs across assigned units
- Float to cover all units within the facility as needed
- Adhere to facility dress code requirements, including hospital-provided scrubs
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy
- Experience in ER/CCU, NICU, and Level 2 care settings (required; candidates without this experience will not be considered)
- Active CRT or RRT credential
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with neonatal respiratory procedures including Bubble CPAP and high-flow therapy in the NICU
- Comfort and flexibility working across multiple units and patient populations within a hospital setting
