Job Title

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Days

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines within a large acute care hospital setting
  • Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including adult vents, infant/pediatric vents, transport vents, non-invasive devices, and high-flow oxygen devices
  • Document patient care and clinical interventions accurately using Cerner EMR
  • Float to all critical care units and general floor areas as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
  • Maintain patient ratios and deliver quality respiratory care in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Participate in rotating weekend shifts, with a minimum of four weekend shifts per six-week schedule
Required Qualifications
  • Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
  • Proficiency with GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger infant/pediatric ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilators, V60 non-invasive devices, and high-flow oxygen equipment (Vapotherm, Comfort Flow)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Prior experience in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings
