Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics
Location
Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment with Possible Extension
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in a busy pediatric hospital setting, including ED and ICU environments
- Float to sister facilities as required
- Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow
- Perform triage and provide Level I Trauma support
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Work holidays and every other weekend (EOW) as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with proof of certification
- Active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional license — must be in hand at time of submittal
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA only) certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience
- Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
- EPIC EMR charting experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent travel assignment experience preferred
- Copy of diploma or associate degree documentation with RRT credentials
- FM-Intermediate/Advanced airway management skills
