Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across patient populations including neonates, adults, and geriatrics
- Perform ABG interpretation, airway management, and mechanical ventilation weaning
- Manage CPAP, Nasal CPAP, BiPAP, flow-by, trach collar, and high flow nasal cannula therapies
- Troubleshoot high pressure alarms and respond to respiratory emergencies
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR and Pyxis systems
- Float within facility and to an additional nearby campus as needed and within scope of practice
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- RRT credential required; CRT/CRTT accepted with a minimum of 5 years of experience and demonstrated critical care skills
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in ABG interpretation, mechanical ventilation, and advanced airway management
- Georgia RN licensure or Compact license required at time of submission
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with neonatal and geriatric patient populations
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
- Prior travel therapy experience in a critical care or neuro diagnostics setting
