    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

    Location

    Augusta, GA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across patient populations including neonates, adults, and geriatrics
    • Perform ABG interpretation, airway management, and mechanical ventilation weaning
    • Manage CPAP, Nasal CPAP, BiPAP, flow-by, trach collar, and high flow nasal cannula therapies
    • Troubleshoot high pressure alarms and respond to respiratory emergencies
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR and Pyxis systems
    • Float within facility and to an additional nearby campus as needed and within scope of practice
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience (first-time travelers accepted)
    • RRT credential required; CRT/CRTT accepted with a minimum of 5 years of experience and demonstrated critical care skills
    • Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Proficiency in ABG interpretation, mechanical ventilation, and advanced airway management
    • Georgia RN licensure or Compact license required at time of submission
    • Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working with neonatal and geriatric patient populations
    • Familiarity with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
    • Prior travel therapy experience in a critical care or neuro diagnostics setting
