    Job Title

    Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel | Nights

    Location

    Biddeford, ME | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across all hospital areas, floating as needed from newborn to adult patient populations
    • Manage and monitor patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation, including pediatric patients in the ER setting
    • Attend high-risk deliveries and participate as an active member of the neonatal resuscitation team in a Level 1 Nursery
    • Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and respiratory equipment including the Drager V500, Hamilton T-1, V60 BiPAP, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, Neopuff, and RAM cannula
    • Accurately document all patient care activities using the EPIC electronic medical records system
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across ICU, ER, Nursery, and Med-Surge floors with strong communication and a team-oriented approach
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
    • BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
    • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
    • Experience working in an adult ICU and treating pediatric patients in an ER environment
    • Experience in a nursery setting, including attendance at high-risk deliveries and participation in resuscitation teams
    • Proficiency with respiratory equipment listed above and EPIC documentation system
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • NICU and/or PICU experience demonstrating comfort and competency with critically ill newborns and pediatric patients
    • Familiarity with RAM cannula and Neopuff in neonatal care settings
    • Strong clinical assessment skills across a broad patient population (newborn through adult)
    • Positive, respectful demeanor with excellent interpersonal and team communication skills
