Respiratory Therapist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | Rotating shifts available: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM and 6:00 PM–6:30 AM | Rotating every third weekend and every third holiday

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of the facility, including NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, cardiac, and emergency settings
  • Manage and operate respiratory equipment including ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices (Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, MR1, V-60 Respironics)
  • Deliver care to a broad patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics within a Level II trauma environment
  • Work independently to make sound clinical judgments and collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Complete department-specific orientation consisting of three 12-hour shifts prior to independent practice
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
  • Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
  • NICU experience is required
  • Ability to work independently, exercise clinical judgment, and function effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working across multiple care settings including ICU, trauma, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
  • Familiarity with a wide range of respiratory equipment platforms including Puritan Bennett and Hamilton ventilators
