Travel Respiratory Therapist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Three 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Deliver core respiratory therapy services across ICU, CMU, medical-surgical, and ED settings within a 76-bed facility
- Operate and manage ventilators including PB840s, PB980s, Philips V60s, and Hamilton C-1s
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients requiring respiratory intervention across varying acuity levels
- Document patient care accurately using the MEDITECH electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes in a Level 3 trauma, Stroke Ready, and Magnet-recognized facility
Required Qualifications- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in core respiratory therapy skills and procedures
- Experience with ventilator management and respiratory equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills- PALS certification preferred
- NRP certification preferred
- Prior experience with MEDITECH documentation system
