Contract | Nights, 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in an inpatient acute care setting across adult and neonatal patient populations
• Apply lung protective ventilation strategies based on patient assessment and laboratory results
• Make independent ventilator management decisions in collaboration with the clinical care team
• Participate as an active member of the Code Blue team
• Deliver care in alignment with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility standards, including NICU Level 3 and adult critical care environments

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility with NICU Level 3 and adult critical care experience
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Active Massachusetts Respiratory Care License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate; candidates residing within 50 miles may be subject to a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification preferred
• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
