    Contract | Nights | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
    • Provide education and instructions to patients and/or responsible persons regarding respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures, and discharge planning.
    • Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care treatments.
    • Provide respiratory care as ordered by the physician while maintaining communication with medical and nursing staff.
    • Share clinical knowledge with staff and students and serve as a role model for clinical practice.
    • Accept reassignment to other units as needed.
    Required Qualifications
    • Associate's degree required.
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
    • Active Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner License required.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel or multi-facility respiratory therapy experience preferred.
    • Experience working across multiple clinical units or care settings.
