Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend, every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a children's hospital setting, including NICU and PICU environments
- Deliver age-appropriate respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients
- Participate in a self-scheduling model as coordinated by unit management
- Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
- Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
- Active Virginia state license required (pending license accepted provided a temporary license can be obtained before start date; must hold another state license to be eligible for a temporary license)
- Epic EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
- Cardiac PICU experience preferred
