Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Nights (4x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services within a children's hospital setting, including NICU and PICU environments
- Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures in accordance with scope of practice
- Participate in a self-scheduling model while meeting unit coverage needs, including weekend and holiday rotations
- Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
- Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as required by the facility
Required Qualifications- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Level 4 NICU experience required
- Active state respiratory therapy license (Virginia license pending accepted if temporary license can be obtained before start date; must hold another active state license to be eligible for temporary licensure)
- Epic EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
- Cardiac PICU experience preferred
