Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level respiratory therapy care within NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, focusing on pediatric patients
  • Deliver care at a Level 4 acuity standard across critical care units
  • Float as needed to additional NICU and pediatric rehabilitation locations within the health system
  • Maintain compliance with all facility-required modules, competencies, and credentialing requirements
  • Complete required onsite fingerprinting and background screening processes prior to and during contract start
Required Qualifications
  • Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license – must be in hand at time of submission
  • NBRC certification – active and in hand at time of submission
  • Active BLS certification
  • Active Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Active PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatrics, PICU, and/or NICU (Level 4 high acuity)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working across multiple critical care pediatric units including CVICU
  • Demonstrated ability to float between facilities and adapt to varying unit protocols
  • Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months
