Provide respiratory therapy services across ICU, NICU, ER, and floor therapy settings for patient populations including neonates, infants, adults, and geriatrics
Manage mechanical ventilation and critical care respiratory needs, including vent management for diagnoses such as respiratory failure, COPD, ARDS, pneumonia, CHF, and COVID-19
Administer inhaled medications including LABAs, LAMAs, SABAs, ICS, and surfactant
Perform and support noninvasive ventilation, arterial puncture, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, and heliox administration
Operate common respiratory equipment including Drager V500, VN500, Evita XL, Carina, Philips V60, and V30 ventilators
Manage a caseload of approximately 8–12 patients per 4-hour interval in accordance with productivity standards
Required Qualifications
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential or higher accepted
Mechanical ventilation and critical care experience required
Proficiency with inhaled medication administration and noninvasive ventilation
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required if candidate has NICU experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
NICU experience preferred but not required
Experience with inhaled nitric oxide and heliox therapy
Familiarity with post-op cardiac and sleep apnea patient management
