Respiratory Therapist - Acute

Columbus, NE

Contract | Nights | Onsite

• Administer aerosol treatments, NPPV, and CPAP therapy
• Manage mechanical ventilation, including support for NICU patients
• Perform EKGs and Holter Monitor application and monitoring
• Participate in Code Blue and Rapid Response Team activations
• Provide respiratory care across all age groups, including NICU and emergency/trauma settings
• Attend C-sections and provide respiratory support as needed in perinatal care

• Current RRT or CRT credentials through the NBRC
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS certifications
• Experience and comfort working with all patient age groups, including NICU, ER, and trauma populations
• Ability to work independently with limited staff availability
• CPI, MOAB certification, or willingness to complete MOAB training on site prior to starting

• Prior experience in a Level 3 Trauma facility
• Familiarity with a broad range of respiratory modalities including ventilator management in critical care settings

• Work in a state-of-the-art facility with modern equipment in a relaxed and welcoming department environment
• Serve a community-focused acute care setting offering exposure to a wide variety of patient cases across specialties
