Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Block Schedule Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a critical access hospital setting with 25 staffed beds
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:13 within assigned unit
• Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostics assessments and treatments as assigned
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday coverage — must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Be available to float to nearby sister facilities as operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid Washington State license must be in hand at time of submission (compact license accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Must commit to a block schedule; all RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals accepted at a different rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access or low-census hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience with neuro diagnostics in addition to respiratory therapy
