Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians
- Handle complex cases requiring expert-level proficiency
- Perform diagnostic testing, complete pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and arterial blood gas (ABG) machine maintenance
- Conduct treadmill testing, hemodynamic monitoring, special procedures, and electronystagmography (ENGs)
- Teach and mentor other respiratory therapy staff
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Expert proficiency level with demonstrated ability to manage complex patient cases
- Experience performing a full range of respiratory care services including diagnostic and special procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring
- Prior experience in a mentorship or clinical education role
- Proficiency with ABG machine operation and maintenance
