Contract | Rotating Shifts (primarily 12-hour shifts, with some 8-hour shifts) | Every other weekend and holidays required | Weekend and straight night status considered

Key Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy assessments and protocols, including arterial punctures and blood gas analysis
• Manage ventilator and non-invasive ventilation (NIV) therapy; assist with intubations, bedside trach placements, tracheostomy changes, decannulation, and extubations
• Deliver medications, provide airway clearance therapy, and assist with bedside bronchoscopy procedures
• Participate in emergency response teams, ICU rounds, and patient intrahospital transport
• Operate a broad range of respiratory equipment including Hamilton G5 & C1, V60, Airvo, ResMed AutoPAPs, Radiometer ABL90 Flex, 3100B HFOV, and various home ventilators (Trilogy, Astral, Vivo), among others
• May float to other campus locations within the Fargo area as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
• Level 1 trauma and ICU experience required
• Experience working in a facility with 300+ beds
• Active North Dakota (NDSBRC) Respiratory Therapy License required — candidates willing to apply within 72 hours of offer acceptance will be considered; licensure processing may take 3–6 weeks
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Emergency Room (ER) experience preferred
• RRT (NBRC certification) preferred; CRT will be considered
• ACLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) certifications preferred
• Experience in Adult/NICU or Adult/PICU rotation settings
