Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics (RRT)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of the hospital within scope of practice
- Float to all hospital departments as needed, including labor and delivery
- Deliver critical care respiratory support to patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention
- Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required by facility needs
- Contribute to emergency response efforts as assigned, including during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT not accepted
- Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) certifications — all must be in hand at time of start
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Recent critical care experience required
- Must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a large acute care or regional hospital setting
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
