Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation included | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of the hospital within scope of practice
• Float to all hospital departments as needed to meet facility demands, including labor and delivery
• Deliver critical care respiratory support to patients requiring advanced intervention
• Participate in holiday rotation scheduling as required by facility
• Contribute to emergency response efforts as assigned, including during designated emergency periods

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) certifications — all must be in hand at time of start
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Recent critical care experience required
• Must be willing and able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large acute care or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
