Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist – NICU

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services within a NICU and respiratory therapy unit setting
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and interpret results
- Assist with intubation procedures as needed
- Administer nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and chest physiotherapy (CPT)
- Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators for patients across all age ranges
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with strong customer service skills
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
- NICU experience required
- ICU experience required
- ED experience required
- Proficiency with Meditech documentation system
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience operating Servo I ventilator
- Experience with I-Stat point-of-care testing device
