Key Responsibilities- Administer respiratory therapy treatments per established protocols, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, intermittent positive pressure breathing, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, and sputum induction.
- Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics including electrocardiograms, cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing, arterial blood sampling and analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, electroencephalograms, home sleep studies, and home nocturnal oximetry.
- Assist with advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures including Lexiscan, dipyridamole, dobutamine, stress echocardiogram, tilt testing, and Holter scanning.
- Accurately document all patient care activities in the patient record in accordance with departmental standards.
Required Qualifications- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); current, unrestricted Colorado license required.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required; RRT credential required within 2 years of hire.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant respiratory therapy experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
