Iron River, MI

Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (7:30 AM – 8:00 PM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday | Two to Three On-Call Nights Per Week

• Provide basic and critical respiratory care, including non-invasive and invasive ventilator management, across all patient age groups
• Perform arterial blood gas draws and apply assess-and-treat protocols independently
• Conduct home sleep testing, Holter monitoring, EKG, event monitoring, pulmonary function testing, and nebulizer treatments
• Support OB deliveries and Trauma/ED respiratory needs
• Provide patient education and document care using the facility EMR system
• Float throughout the facility and potentially to an alternate site based on staffing needs

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active Michigan Respiratory Therapy license required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Proficiency with ventilator management (invasive and non-invasive) and assess-and-treat protocols

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
• Experience with equipment including Hamilton GV Vent, LTV Vent, C1 Vent, Phillips V60 BiPAP, MGC PFT Body Box, GE Seer Holters, GE MAC5500 EKGs, and Pyxis Dose Management
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Ability to work independently, manage change effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment
