Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Weekends and Holidays Required | No On-Call

Key Responsibilities

• Administer aerosolized medications via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
• Provide Chest Physiotherapy (CPT), Incentive Spirometry, and Oxygen Therapy
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy for appropriate patient populations
• Perform arteriocentesis as part of respiratory care duties
• Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR
• Float to units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience required
• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active compact or Tennessee state license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience within the past 12–18 months required; must be clearly documented on candidate profile including where Epic was utilized; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt only — failure may result in cancellation)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred
• Experience in neuro diagnostics or a related specialty setting
• Familiarity with respiratory care in an acute care hospital environment
