Travel: Registered Respiratory Therapist – Nights

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours guaranteed per week | 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities- Administer and manage all forms of respiratory therapy to patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Evaluate patient reactions to respiratory treatments and recommend corresponding treatment plans
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
- Document patient assessments and treatment progress accurately within the EMR system (EPIC)
- Adhere to facility dress code and infection control policies, including required vaccinations during applicable seasonal periods
- Work weekends as required by the facility
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapist experience in an acute care hospital
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to evaluate patient responses to therapy and adapt treatment plans accordingly
Preferred Experience / Skills- Certifications in NRP, ACLS, and/or PEARS
- Post-secondary (undergraduate) education in respiratory therapy or a related field
