Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 18:45–07:15) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Coverage Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services primarily to an adult patient population
- Work predominantly night shifts with occasional day shift coverage as needed
- Participate in every-other-weekend coverage rotation
- Adhere to facility protocols and unit manager directives, including potential emergency team assignments during declared emergency events
- Complete required facility orientation modules as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy specialty
- Active Louisiana State Respiratory Therapy License required at time of submission (LA license must be in hand)
- RRT or CRT credential accepted
- Current BLS certification (AHA required)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA required)
- Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility address (non-local travelers only)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with adult patient populations in a hospital or acute care setting
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
