    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and sleep studies
    • Administer and monitor respiratory therapy modalities such as oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and inhalation therapy
    • Educate patients and their families on disease management, breathing techniques, and proper use of respiratory equipment
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and sleep technologists to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation
    • Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy to continuously improve patient care processes
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Respiratory Therapist licensure or certification as required by state regulations
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
    • Experience administering and managing mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy
    • Proficiency in performing arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests
    • Strong documentation and patient record-keeping skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with sleep studies and collaboration with sleep technologists
    • Background in patient and family education related to chronic respiratory conditions
