Conduct ABG draws and analysis, including interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases
Administer and manage a broad range of inhaled medications including Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Pulmicort, Racemic Epinephrine, and others
Provide tracheostomy care and management, airway suctioning, and pulmonary hygiene
Operate and troubleshoot required ventilators including Servo I and LTV 1200; preferred experience with Phillips V60 BiPAP, BiPAP Vision, and Teleflex High Flow Nasal Cannulas
Required Qualifications
Active New York State Respiratory Therapy License required and must be in hand at time of submission
CRT certification required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience required
EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department settings
Proficiency with Phillips V60 BiPAP, BiPAP Vision, and Teleflex High Flow Nasal Cannulas
Experience with weaning from mechanical ventilation and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
Familiarity with a wide range of aerosol delivery devices including MDI, T-piece, trach collar, and HFNC
