Key Responsibilities- Perform respiratory care evaluations and treat patients according to established protocols.
- Deliver medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers.Respond immediately to Rapid Response, arrest, and STAT situations, maintaining artificial airways and providing respiratory and cardiac support.
- Set up and maintain all oxygen delivery systems in accordance with protocol.
- Administer medications and perform therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing related to the cardiopulmonary system, independently or in consultation with a physician.
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Active RRT Certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Active Michigan Respiratory Therapy License (must reflect Active status).
- Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
- Current Skills Checklist (within the past year) pertinent to Respiratory Therapy and two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous travel healthcare work experience.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR.
