Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | Preference scheduling available with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of respiratory care for pediatric and neonatal patient populations in the NICU and PICU, managing approximately 20–25 treatments per day
• Operate and manage ventilators including Hamilton and Servo platforms, as well as NAVA ventilation mode
• Administer respiratory therapies including aerogen nebulization, Volara, cough assist, and IPV
• Manage BiPAP (Respironics and Hamilton) and High Flow Nasal Cannula (Fisher Paykel) devices
• Perform airway management and assist with intubation procedures
• Conduct intrahospital transport of patients as required

Required Qualifications

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required (preferred over CRT)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NRP certification required (for NICU assignments)
• Minimum of 2 or more years of experience working in a PICU and/or a Level 4 or greater NICU

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with NAVA ventilation and advanced ventilator management in neonatal and pediatric settings
• Familiarity with Hamilton and Servo ventilator platforms
• Experience with high-flow nasal cannula therapy and non-invasive ventilation in pediatric and neonatal populations
