Key Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments including aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and treatments
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Active and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Washington
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work day shift in an onsite clinical setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Experience with mechanical ventilation and critical care respiratory support
- ACLS certification
