Contract | Days | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures in accordance with unit protocols
• Participate in every-other-weekend coverage as part of standard scheduling
• Report to unit manager as assigned, including potential participation in emergency response teams during declared emergency events
• Complete facility orientation modules as required prior to or at the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential required
• Valid Louisiana state respiratory therapy license (Compact or LA license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA-issued)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in specialty; new graduates will not be considered
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as shown on driver's license) to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
• Candidates must have any requested time off noted on profile and disclosed during the interview process

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior travel therapy experience preferred, though first-time travelers with sufficient clinical experience will be considered
