Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Perform day-shift clinical duties across 12-hour shifts with every-other-weekend coverage
• Participate in orientation modules as scheduled during the orientation period
• Report as assigned by unit management in the event of an emergency, which may include remaining at the facility until the event passes or serving on a relief team

Required Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential with a valid state license (Compact or Louisiana license required in hand at time of submittal)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• ACLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in specialty; new graduates will not be considered
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on your driver's license to the facility address) to be eligible
• Must be comfortable with emergency event staffing expectations as outlined in the assignment terms

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records
• Prior travel assignment experience (first-time travelers with strong RT experience will be considered)
