Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week
Key Responsibilities- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation
- Evaluate patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Collaborate with the clinical care team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
Required Qualifications- Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Virginia
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
- Must comply with facility badging and identification requirements at all times
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred
