    Respiratory Therapist

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Self-Schedule)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver and manage 40–50 respiratory treatments per day across all inpatient areas, including the ER
    • Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and occasionally perform EKGs
    • Provide respiratory support for adult patients and a limited pediatric population in the ER, including complex cases such as CRRT, IABP, CABG/AVR/MVR, TAVR, and lung surgical patients
    • Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including Drager, LTV, I-vent, V-60, and Vapotherm high-flow devices
    • Assist with intubation procedures as needed
    • Adhere to infection control protocols including use of PAPR, CAPR, and N95 respiratory protection
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential strongly preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will be considered
    • Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
    • Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
    • Proficiency with a broad range of ventilator and respiratory support equipment
    • Ability to rotate every 3rd weekend and share holiday coverage with permanent staff
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with high-acuity adult populations including cardiac surgical and thoracic surgical patients
    • Familiarity with Drager, LTV, I-vent, V-60, and Vapotherm equipment platforms
    • Prior experience in a facility with both hospitalist and intensivist coverage
