Travel Respiratory Therapist (7a–7p)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services across a diverse patient population including adults, geriatrics, pediatrics, neonates, and hospice patients
  • Operate and manage Vocsn Ventilators and V60 BiPAP equipment in accordance with facility protocols
  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions across multiple units as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver individualized, high-quality patient care
  • Float within the required service area as needed to support staffing needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility's electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of respiratory therapy experience
  • Some neonatal and pediatric experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
  • Must successfully complete a 10-panel drug screening including opiates
  • Must complete state-required background check including criminal and child abuse portions prior to start
  • Mandatory Reporter certification (Child and Adult) required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working with micro-premie through hospice patient populations
  • Familiarity with Vocsn Ventilators and V60 BiPAP equipment
  • Experience in a regional health center or multi-specialty acute care environment
