Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist – Nights

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 26-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services across the facility, covering adult acute care, critical care, pediatric acute care, NICU, PICU, and the emergency department as part of a team of 14–16 RRTs
- Manage and operate a variety of ventilator equipment including Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:25 in acute care settings and 1:8 in critical care settings
- Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately one call shift per month with a 2-hour call requirement for the oncoming shift
- Work every other weekend as part of standard scheduling expectations
- Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RRT
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required for NICU coverage
- Experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital environment with Level 1 Trauma designation
- Demonstrated ability to float across adult acute, adult critical care, pediatric acute care, NICU, PICU, and ED settings
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience in NICU, PICU, and cardiothoracic settings strongly preferred
- Flexible, team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
