Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services across assigned units, with flexibility to float internally between departments as needed
- Deliver advanced respiratory care in a Level 3 NICU environment, including management of critically ill neonatal patients
- Operate and manage specialized ventilation equipment including Nitric Oxide, Jet ventilation, and Oscillator ventilation
- Adapt to variable shift scheduling while maintaining consistent, high-quality patient care
- Work every other weekend per collective bargaining agreement requirements
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications- Valid Washington State Respiratory Therapist license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Level 3 NICU experience required
- Demonstrated competency with Nitric Oxide, Jet ventilation, and Oscillator ventilation
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-acuity hospital setting with variable patient ratios
- Ability to float between multiple departments and adapt quickly to changing clinical environments
