Travel Respiratory Therapist – Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor respiratory treatments including nebulizers, BIPAP/CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
• Manage a typical floor assignment of 20–25 treatments per round
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment including oxygen delivery systems and blood gas machines
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call shifts, with on-call expected approximately one 24-hour shift every 5–6 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
• Current Virginia State Respiratory Therapy License required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• ICU experience required — candidates without ICU experience will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Proficiency with ventilator management in an acute or critical care setting
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high patient volumes
