    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Pediatric / Neuro Diagnostics (RRT)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:30) | Onsite | Weekend availability required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across all inpatient and acute care areas, including all ICUs, with floating required to all units as needed
    • Manage airways, ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and oxygen therapy for a patient population spanning neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
    • Administer medications, perform suctioning, pulmonary toileting, and nebulizer treatments
    • Monitor and respond to patient needs in PICU and/or NICU settings as part of a multidisciplinary care team
    • Participate in weekend shifts and remain available for on-call shift pick-up as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with active NBRC-RRT certification
    • Active Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner (WA RCP) license required for immediate start; candidates without active WA license must submit application promptly and may be considered for a start date 6–8 weeks out
    • Current BLS and PALS certifications required
    • Minimum of 2 years of applicable respiratory therapy experience
    • PICU or NICU experience required; intensive care experience is mandatory
    • Proficiency in airway management, vent management, oxygen therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in trauma (Level 1), emergency department, or teaching/community hospital environments
    • Proficiency with high frequency jet ventilator, high frequency oscillator, EKGs, Code Response, and Rapid Response
    • Previous experience in a dedicated children's hospital setting
    • Experience with Epic EMR system
