Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Weekend coverage variable | Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of up to 5 ventilator patients with 6–8 RVUs per shift, serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Perform comprehensive airway management including extubation, intubation assist, nasal and oral airway placement, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and sputum specimen collection
• Administer a broad range of respiratory medications via aerosol masks, metered dose inhalers, medihalers, and various nebulizer systems (cold, heated, handheld, ultrasonic, T-piece, trach collar)
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators including Draeger and Servo I; manage BiPAP, CPAP, flow-by, high-frequency oscillator, and mechanical ventilation weaning
• Perform ABG interpretation and basic EKG monitoring as part of routine patient assessment
• May be required to float to nearby sister campuses as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Respiratory Therapist License required at time of submission (compact license must be in hand at submission)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
• Minimum of 2 years of experience; experience in Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, PICU, and/or Pediatrics is required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Proficiency with Draeger and Servo I ventilators required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler; locals are accepted at an adjusted rate
• Candidates who have previously worked at any affiliated Providence facility as a permanent employee must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) Lab is preferred
• NICU experience is a plus; candidates without NRP certification or NICU experience may be subject to additional screening
