Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services within a Cardiopulmonary unit at a 116-bed acute care facility
- Operate and manage ventilators (Draeger) and utilize Pyxis medication dispensing systems
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Deliver patient-centered care in alignment with AIDET communication standards, including completion of communication boards and medication teaching
- Collaborate as part of a core staffing team of Respiratory Therapists to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Perform procedures and advanced skills as required within the Cardiopulmonary unit
Required Qualifications- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and demonstrated problem-solving ability
- Ability to wear required uniform (ceil blue scrubs)
Preferred Experience / Skills- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred
- Prior experience in a Trauma Level III designated facility
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems and Draeger ventilators
