Travel: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist – Nights

Key Responsibilities- Initiate, manage, and adjust respiratory care interventions and procedures for pediatric and neonatal patients, including those in PICU and NICU settings.
- Operate and maintain advanced respiratory equipment including Draeger VN500, Hamilton G-5, Oscillator, and Jet Ventilator.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, participate in physician rounds, and communicate patient goals, status changes, and care plan updates in a timely manner.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, charges, and education in the EPIC EMR system.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies including fall precautions, patient identification protocols, and communication handoff standards.
- Float to related pediatric and neonatal areas as required by the facility.
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Current, active state licensure in the state of practice.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric and/or Neonatal Intensive Care experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-acuity PICU or NICU environment with variable patient ratios.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR.
- Demonstrated adaptability and a strong teamwork mentality in fast-paced clinical settings.
