Contract | Nights | 3x12 (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple areas of the hospital including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma units
• Operate and manage equipment including Avea ventilators, LTV transport ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, and Airvo high-flow devices
• Stabilize and support respiratory patients in high-volume, high-acuity settings including a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
• Participate in weekend and on-call coverage as required by the facility
• Float to other areas of the facility as required

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active Missouri Board for Respiratory Care license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 1 year of experience in adult critical care and high-volume ED with Trauma experience
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• Experience with arterial blood gas draws and processing on GEM analyzer
• Proficiency in blood gas interpretation
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma patients
