Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 3x12 (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple areas of the hospital including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma units
• Operate and manage ventilators and high-flow respiratory equipment including Avea ventilators, LTV transport vents, V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, and Airvo
• Stabilize and manage respiratory patients in a high-volume, busy emergency department with trauma exposure
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
• Float to various units as required by the facility
• Comply with weekend and on-call requirements as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active Missouri Board for Respiratory Care license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
• Experience in adult critical care and high-volume ED with trauma
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• Experience with blood gas draws, blood gas processing on GEM analyzer, and blood gas interpretation
• Familiarity with Bellavista ventilator platform
