Contract | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday coverage may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor 5–6 ventilator patients per shift in an adult inpatient and emergency department setting
• Draw and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs) via arterial line and puncture
• Operate and manage ventilator equipment including 840/980, V60, Vapotherm, CPAP, and BiPAP
• Assist with intubations as needed alongside in-house hospitalists and intensivists
• Collaborate with shift leads and interdisciplinary team; therapist will never be the sole RT in-house
• Complete department-specific orientation prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred; CRT candidates may be considered
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience in critical care and mechanical ventilation
• Adult patient population experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience with Puritan Bennett 840/980 ventilators, Philips V60, and Vapotherm high-flow therapy
• Prior experience in an inpatient or emergency department respiratory therapy role
• Familiarity with arterial line management and ABG interpretation
